The top two photos are friends of Gail, part of the clan that she has adopted during out stays here in Lake Worth. Cedric is on the branch, while Sydney is checking out the food supply. They don't eat anything but vegetation, apparently, so need to worry about being attacked.
The middle pic is one of nearly 2 dozen white-tails we saw as we drove along the Skyline Trail in Virginia. Well worth the drive if you get a chance, as there are wonderful views, too many to take in along the route. The bottom two photos are two of many taken.

Larry & Gail... I am finally caught up reading your blog and enjoying it! We were wondering if you escaped the storm that swept through the Carolinas but since you are in Florida...that answered my question. Glad you are getting in some quality biking and walks. Perhaps in a future blog, you could let me know what kind of camper you have...surely not an old VW Camper from Lahr? :-) Keep on truckin'. ~Jim
ReplyDeleteThanks for the note, Jim. Always great to hear from people while we're on the road. Re the VW thing, we've graduated to a 25 foot class C r.v., made by Triple E, a Manitoba company. Has everything we need, and is just the right size. We've had it for three years, and really enjoy it.
